LearnDash 5.0 RC4: Final Validation for WordPress 6.9 Compatibility
LearnDash 5.0 is approaching release, and Release Candidate 4 (RC4) represents an important stabilization milestone before general availability.
This RC focuses on fixing high-impact issues discovered during testing with WordPress 6.9, and additional issues around the block editor, course builder, and admin workflows. While there are no new features introduced in this release candidate, RC4 is critical for ensuring LearnDash 5.0 is production-ready across real-world environments and integrations.
If you build on top of LearnDash or maintain custom integrations, this is the ideal moment to validate your workflows against the latest fixes and confirm compatibility before launch.

What We’re Asking Developers to Validate
If you’re testing RC4, we recommend focusing on the following areas:
- Block editor behavior in Courses, Lessons, and Topics
- Custom blocks or extensions interacting with LearnDash blocks
- Course Builder visibility and functionality
- Admin workflows related to Groups, Exams, and Reports
- Any REST API–driven workflows that depend on editor or admin state
This is not a full regression test request. Even light validation against your most common or most critical flows is extremely valuable.
